there are quite a few inconsistencies in the femdom tag. Whereas one would expect dominance, quite a few simply have small instances of what would be considered such, and then return to submission? It would be nice if there could either be a softer tag that branches off from femdom, or if the works in question could be removed from the tag. I'm sure staff is entirely overwhelmed at the moment, but I would be happy to name some works if my suggestion is considered.
The femdom tag has become a dumping ground of sorts for any work that involves even the least bit of female assertiveness. While I get that this isn't the norm it can become so exhausting sifting through the tag trying to get to the stuff that's actually femdom.
Which brings me to my suggestion: sub-tags. If you guys still want to keep assertiveness tagged for the sake of posterity, but would like some consistency (organization, perhaps)
I suggest creating a softcore femdom tag. This way everyone can keep tabs on assertive women without cluttering up the tag with stuff that isn't really femdom.
Furthermore, and this really highlights the inconsistencies amongst tags seeing as femdom is so cluttered; there are a lot of works that kind of fall under the forced category but not really. For example: the word no will be uttered sooooooo much but it's still, somehow, "consentual" . There are also some works which are obviously not consentual, but aren't as fantastical as the works in the forced tag. These works should either be moved into the forced tag, or a dubious consent tag should be created. I suggest moving the ones without consent into the forced tag, and creating a dubious consent tag for the ones that have lots of no' sand then kind of end in the whole "I'm sorry I just couldn't control myself" "~oh that's okay I totally forgive you despite my earlier desperate cries that indicated the exact opposite of acceptance" shtick.
There are a lot of reasons why this is a good idea (consistency, organization, ease of access, ease of warning people that aren't comfortable with that stuff away, ect.) but I'm not admin so. I leave these ideas in the capable hands of whatever authority figure stumbles across them, And for us plebs to discuss.
