Let's be honest here, FAKKU and its community have been nothing more than a den of thieves until recently. This site and E-H have fostered of culture of blatantly stealing content from talented creators with no expectation of ever giving back.
You are so wrong about this it goes from being funny, to not being funny, all the way to being funny again.
This same argument was made twenty years ago about anime fansubbers who distributed VHS tapes of Dragonball Z movies and episodes of Macross - not Robotech, but Macross.
Like the fansub community twenty years ago Fakku, by my understanding, formed to make fan scanlations of hentai comics (both manga and doujinshi) available to english readers. Without regard to the methods used, the purpose was not stealing, it was making content available to an audience that was not served by the market.
Now that the site is going legitimate, its time for the part of the community who want to continue stealing to leave and never return. Don't try to cater to them; they are a lost cause.
That's a really negative approach (which I guess fits with your negative attitude.) However, your negative views aside, it's what is likely to occur.
This is a bright new beginning for not only Fakku, but the hard working creators who we have been neglecting for years. Thanks to Jacob and the Fakku crew for making this possible.
You're quite wrong about the community neglecting creators - it was interest in the works of those creators that created Fakku. Still, here's hoping that it is indeed a bright beginning.
