As a temporary fix if you have F5 on the resive avi screen I was able to get it to work in Chrome. This might not be fixed until the new version goes out.

I've been having the same issue. I've been wanting to change my avi back to Q for about 3 days now. I wonder what the problem is.

It works on Opera, since it... completely reverses the problem? Lol. The cropping box is freely adjustable and it actually works.

Otherwise just scale the image down to 160x260 yourself using image editing software and it'll upload instantly.

Managed to change it in Firefox, needed a few refreshes. Didn't work with the refreshes for me in Chrome. Will just use Firefox if I want to change my avi until the issue is fixed.

Same deal with IE; I can crop the photo, but then I get the herp derp error.

I managed to fix it by refreshing the page about 40 times on Firefox. Not a very convenient fix, and you're going to have to do it every time you want to change it, but it's there.
Just be sure to be aware when it's working so you don't accidentally refresh again and get sent back to square one.
