but the question that's been nagging me for a while now, and just recently brought up, is gambler. What do you have against the proposed post count?

1) I have not seen many conflicts on Fakku (or maybe I am just oblivious to them), but what happens if a particular uploader is biased against certain members? The former may withhold the password to a thread due to a grudge. Although I have full faith in most, if not all, of the uploaders on Fakku, we cannot say for sure that future uploaders will not abuse their "power".
maybe, but maybe not. the link killing stopped for the 24 hours the minimum post count applied. so most likely not
I can only see that you are out to kill half the site, since uploads are the lifeblood of the site, and all of the uploaders are bitching about their links getting reported.
I assume you are asking me why I am against the implementation of a minimum post requirement?
All of us care for Fakku in our own individual manner. However, for myself, I always place the community before hentai. As seen in the previous incident regarding the implementation of a minimum post requirement, spam started the moment some members, especially the leechers, realized they are unable to enter the user uploads section. Of course, we can choose to ignore the spam, but it will eventually lead to the downfall of Fakku, or at least the forum.
When people provide single-word replies, or even worse, incoherent ones, such as "..." or "?", it could cause a serious topic to go off-track and maybe degrade the subject of discussion. Already, there are a few members complaining about the nature of replies in the MoteMote battle threads, causing them to stay away from that particular section. Applied to the entire forum, everyone could soon lose the motivation to post. Did I mention that I feel somewhat uncomfortable reading the replies of members who do not have an avatar or signature, since it is highly likely that their very post could also be their very last, making it appear insincere?
Some may suggest placing a ban on members who spam. Indeed, it may be effective in the long run, but it hurts the reputation of Fakku, causing potential members to stay away. Even in the world of hentai, marketing is important. I am sure most of us have heard about "good" hentai sites and the less reputable ones.
Since I wasn't with Fakku the day it was born, I may be wrong to come up with the following assumption: Fakku managed to get this far not because of the user uploads, which may not be around in the first place without the community. It could be other reasons that draw a particular internet user and hentai fan to us. At this very moment, there are 67 registered users online, 6 hidden and 1191 guests. I vaguely remember guests being unable to access the user uploads section unless they register, so obviously, they are here for other hentai content.
Lastly, I admit I have raised some issues with the recent suggestions by members, making me look like the "bad" guy. Neither can I say I have any bright ideas to deal with the current problems. I am just trying to look at things from another viewpoint so that no one, if possible, will be put in a disadvantaged position. These feedback and suggestions proved my earlier point that members care about Fakku in their own individual way.
