Why can't I get into the Video section?

I don't think the anime/video sections had a moderator whose focus was entirely those two forums.
If you try to bring them back, having some would be a good idea methinks, though I always felt that the users of the video section were pretty good at self-moderating.

Admittedly I was wondering how the video section had a 'do not upload' list but the anime section didn't.
It really was only a matter of time before something like this happened.

Weird question.. went will the anime section come back or is it gone to sleep with a bullet it's head made possible by licensee lawyers letter of cease and desist hand stoking( removed for company safely.. and money losing efforts). Video section isn't my bag.

The anime section isn't a section for user uploads, and thus there's no possible copyright infringement. The video section is/was.

I think he was referring to the Anime sub-section of the User Uploads rather than the Anime General or Specific Anime Series boards, Kuroneko.

Anyway, I agree on the sentimentality that if the sections are returned, they should have a dedicated moderator for them. It may very well be something that the global staff might be able to handle, but it seems like all of the staff members have enough on their hands. I think it should have a dedicated person(s) to look out for licensed material in the future.

Uh, yeah there was. I should know. I got a few older ones from Fakku when I could no longer find good torrents.

They are both temporarily closed. While Jacob hasn't made any announcement for the anime section, I'm assuming that he's going through the same thing for the video section, remaining closed until Jacob is done removing all the 'copyright-infringed' uploads.
