Would it be possible for a 'Disable forum avatars' option?

As the title suggests.

I really do hate to be that person, but I've just browsed a support topic where someone was using a pretty explicit loli pic as their forum avatar. Besides personally finding it to be very distasteful; precisely this kind of image is very much illegal in my country, and I'd really like not to have similar material appearing on my screen.

Just a suggestion.
