FAKKU + Kitty Media Licensing Deal!

Today I am proud to announce the beginning of a partnership with Kitty Media, the subsidiary of Media Blasters that focuses on licensing hentai titles for the United States and Canada. The partnership will give FAKKU the licensing rights to stream select Kitty Media titles, beginning with Immoral Sisters. The titles will be freely available on FAKKU in DVD quality streaming with both Japanese / English audio and English subtitles. The Internet has revolutionized the way we consume media and it is my goal to convince companies to embrace this change rather than fight against it. I believe that by providing content for free the audience will grow exponentially, far larger than it would using traditional means. The result will be more fans wanting to support it any way they can. And as a fan, I want to support it and help it grow, so help me show these companies that we want to see them do more! I sure hope by centralization you don't mean what Fakku tries to pull off right now, that is trying to influence as many groups as possible by pooling them under their banner for example.

well you are very mistaken here if you feel this is resolving your legal issues,

kitty media in fact own NO 1 single web license or sub license rights, all your creating now is more issues between the japanese studios and the usa dvd distribours.

i am surprised that you enter in to license agreements without having your attorney confirm the actual rights of the company you license from.

This might be something you're not supposed to answer, but I might as well try asking (and forgive me if this was mentioned before and I missed it) - did FAKKU approach Kitty Media about a partnership or was it the other way around?

Pragmatically speaking, I don't think Fakku will have an issue with hosting ero manga and doujinshi. Very few Western companies are interested in ero manga licenses, and doujinshi*, of course, can't be licensed. And the Japanese artists and publishers don't have the resources to pursue their properties, or even really anything to gain from it.

At the same time I don't doubt that if they continue forging partnerships and setting up more deals, eventually someone in some company somewhere in the world is going to look at the site and go, "Wait, they're also hosting what...!?". But yeah, given the odd situation with doujinshi, this standing of having legal and not so legal stuff up at the same time is likely to last way longer than that weird period Crunchyroll was in for a while. Still, it's probably only a matter of time...

It's too bad Simon Jones was captured by brigands or whatever, it'd be interesting to see his take on this on the Icarus Publishing blog.

Are the Momoka stickers gone? The links to the bundles are gone and the sticker pack doesn't show up on Sanshee. Damn my procrastination.

Congrats on the partnership. I didn't really get a chance to check it out, but hopefully ad revenue from the views goes towards Kitty. It's really cool that they're offering it for free, so I hope they get a little more profit on top of whenever Fakku users have money to spare and purchase actual merch.

Congrats guys on the team-up. Also thank you for the Immoral Sisters. This was actually my first hentai I have ever watched. Made me feel the otaku inside me for hentai. Basically brought me into the hentai world. So again thanks to you all to create something that truly is worth while.

Bought the 2nd bible black game Its pretty good! but I wish some of the endings in the first game continued into the 2nd one...sigh miss minase being top dawg!
