Does the number 2 correspond to your order number? That would be pretty cool if you were the second person to order a shirt. And will we all get post-it notes with our shirts?
Yes, That is, in fact, the 2nd shirt to be ordered and each post-it is numbered. Interestingly enjoy; that shirt was the first shipped because we wanted to test the cost of international shipping, which was more expensive than what we charged(whoops!)
Each order gets a post-it note with a number and a drawing. Some numbers may repeat at points because I tend to zone out after 10 or so shirts. But the chickens are different each time. I try to make each hen unique and sometimes the hen is related to the address, person, or the number of the order. Sometimes it's related to whatever was on the television when I was drawing it. Sometimes they express my feeling at the time, like when I'm tired the chicken might be sleeping. I don't know, when I've got 300 of the buggers to draw it sort of blurs together.
I'm glad everyone's excited about the shirts,we're trying to ship them as fast as possible, the process is tedious, but
is getting done. The whole thing sort of hit us as a deluge of feathers and fabric. But mark your word, every day I entomb myself in hen-tie shirts and tyvek envelopes. The people at the local post office
hate us.
