This is all fine and dandy but...Ctrl + W no longer works for closing tabs when browsing galleries. Now I don't actually press Ctrl and W to close tabs, but this is why I think Logitech's MX518 has the greatest computing enhancement since the invention of the scroll wheel; thumb buttons.
Seriously, two little buttons on the side of a mouse can forever change how you use the computer. The "Back" button to go back to a previous page or directory is something I use constantly, but the "Forward" button is something I almost never use, so I remapped that button to "Alt + F4" or the "close window" hotkey. However, when browsing the web I open far more tabs than windows so I wrote two small lines in AutoHotKey that makes it so that pressing Alt+F4 instead sends Crtl+W when my browser is the active window and now the "Forward" button is more useful than the "Back" button...except when browsing Fakku galleries.
Strange how the "Ctrl" toggle is not acknowledged.
