Jacob, it's so nice to see someone actually being logical and, well, normal about this "ban". Everywhere else on the internet is up in arms, rambling on about how it's like living under the Taliban and things like that (even though it seems the Taliban have very little problem with child sex, prostitution and rape...)
I would just say, for the "shoujo" one, that word can also mean "daughter" and "virgin", though obviously means "girl" most of the time. I also get the impression it can refer to very young girls, though still older than "loli"; sort of like our term "jailbait".
Talking of "bans"; loli has been banned - actually properly legally banned - in the UK for some time now. Oh noes, look MI5 and the SAS are outside my house coming to arrest me!
Most hentai fans are getting rather worked up over the recent bans on certain categories of hentai, especially in that of eroge. Of course, I am not implying that we remain silent, but the best we can do for now is to raise awareness among the various communities.
Actually, I got caught up in the hype as well. But after some searches (and some discussions on other sites), it seems that game companies can choose whether or not they follow EOCS rules or not, since it seems like it is only optional to "join" them. It seems like Sankakucomplex is stirring things up.
So yeah, LOL to that. Oh, and thanks for the releases
