Yamatogawa Joins FAKKU!

Today, on FAKKU's 12 year anniversary, I am proud to announce that we have teamed up with legendary hentai artist Yamatogawa to release their entire catalog of books in English! All books will be completely remastered, with a brand new translation and the FAKKU Books print quality you have come to expect (large format, dust jacket, all the color pages, etc). Because these books have been previously published in English, we are going to make sure the FAKKU releases are the best editions possible.

Witchcraft will be our first release and is available for pre-order right now. After that, we are letting you decide the order of books we publish. Head on over to our forums and place your vote for which Yamatogawa book you would like to see next!

Yea me too I guess? I already have all the Yamatogawa books from ProjectH, so I guess technically I don't have to buy the books... but I might buy the Fakku version for collection purposes if I've got spare change.

Sell the project h. Except mine is the 2nd edition soft cover from the kickstarter. I guess i can get a better version for boing boing and powerplay.

Interesting, but I already got all six volumes from Project-H. So the need to get these again isn't trough the roof, to be honest. But I'll think about it at a later point.

Cool, congratulations. Though if to be blunt, I would've preferred if effort was more directed into publishing new books from new authors in English rather than re-publishing books which are already a decade year old and have English releases available. Nevertheless, knowing how amazing FAKKU quality is then the new print is gonna be nice and all. It's just that I am more likely to buy other works published by you :)

I think I already have some of these...Oh well, they're good enough to be worth a re-purchase!

I appreciate Project-H for originally releasing some of these but to see Yamatogawa's books get the FAKKU treatment fills me with joy to no end.

It's probably not going to happen, but I'd love it if Fakku could get access to Hisasi's "Cute Devil Girlfriend" from Project-H. I guess that could only happen when the original rights for Project-H's version expires.

So I don't know how to feel about this. I already bought almost all of these over on Project H, and to be honest, I'm not really keen on spending money on PDF's that I already own. Hopefully these new versions will be significantly better than what I already have. If that is the case, then I'm willing to re-buy all of them again. I say that knowing full well that I will buy the new editions regardless of my frustrations, I just won't be happy about it.

I think I'll rebuy all the books, and donate the inferior quality ones I already own to Goodwill.

I'm unbelievably hype I love Yamatogawa works.
