Can't start HSU - Black Screen

Hi there! So I just bought Honey Select Unlimited, and whenever I decide to open up the application, a black windowed screen appears with the honey select yellow cursor. There is no sound, and those are the only two things that appear. Any help to get the game running would be appreciated.
