Well, until they reveal more about Bahamut' story in the anime, I can't say anything about why he's so powerful. At least we can say that he's different than Mina-kun here...... If you know Warcraft' lore, we can compare Bahamut to Deathwing, I guess.........

I don't really know any Warcraft... But.... "gods" is called that because of their supposedly almighty power....
