Here's a funny question if Trump dies before his inauguration, who become president Pence, Ryan, Hillary?
If it's before the electoral college vote then it's who ever the national party selects as a replacement. Between the vote and congress validates then Vice prez is king until congress votes on a new president just like if no one wins in the electoral college vote, but if no one is chosen by the 20th of jan then Pence is the 45th.
Now if Trump dies and house fail to pick one then Hillary can't be pres and the senate votes for the vice president. Then if the house is still unable to choose by votes and 20th comes then Pence is prez and he can pick his vice.
Remember the people don't vote for who president. Congress does, but they won't fuck with the score too much to change who wins. That would be fucking stupid. People would riot and overthrow this bitch.
Now could Hillary win in the vote if trump died... probably not. It depends if the trump supporters in congress can win a vote with Pence, but theoretically she can or there three candidates for prez. It all depends if trump republicans can convince other republicans not to run another guy.
There only been one time congress picked the prez. And that because no one won thru the first election. The vice presidential vote yet to happen or the president dying before inauguration. This is all just theoretical and part of the line of succession procedures.
Doesn't really matter since if trump dies and pence dies or doesn't wanna then Ryan would be prez and the same things would happen, just the general hate and vigor of trumpism would be... Randism.
