Is there an M16A2? If so, I'm watching this.
There's A4.
Awesome. She's MINE!!!! (Actually, I have a bushmaster AR 15, but I love the platform and that rifle (well, the A2) is my rifle equivalent of true love, she may be temperamental, and high maintenance, but between that and the M249 (the weapons I was issued in the Army) the M16 was love at first shot)
Edit: Now that I'm watching it, it doesn't seem like she's held together with zip-ties rather than assembly pins, isn't horribly scratched all over her upper-receiver, her sights probably still adjust, but she doesn't have the modular rail system. I'd treat her right with a PAC4 IR laser, high density firing pin, improved recoil springs, and keep a low powered scope with removable bipod separate with easy snap-on parts. Mostly iron sights, but for engagements at longer range (up to 1,000 yards is the best I can group shots at right now) they'll be welcome attachments.

u a fag
no u
Go away you american gaijin and go with your polymer shit.
Woah, I'm not even saying it's great, I'm saying I like it... There are much better weapons out there, I'll never deny that, but I'm comfortable with the M16 and the AR platform. Also, it's not bad either, the firearm has seen service in several conflicts and environments and it is still well respected. She may not be the prettiest girl at the dance, but treat her right and she'll put out the moment you ask her.

Wait... I don't get the problem here? My personal taste, I'm this instance liking something I'm familiar with, am comfortable with, and own, somehow makes me a fag? Okay, I'll bite, why?
Because you have shit taste.
B^).
@antwon >liking a fake gun
your a weeb
I'm comfortable with them as firearms, honestly I'd rather have either the military or civilian models with me if I was in a situation that necessitated a firearm than a platform I don't know. I'm just curious, have you ever fired a rifle? Do you have any experience in this subject personally?
Edit: Nevermind, lets just laugh at the L85A2's terrible design.
I have. Ive owned firearms before (not in nippon, of course. I dont have the heart to cap a gun)
OI.
I like the L85 (even with its shit bullpup design and plastic everywhere and constant problems).
