[Anime] Color of the Sky, Color of the Water 2

We've done it once again! On behalf of FAKKU-Subs I present to you Anime Release #7, Color of the Sky, Color of the Water (Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro) 2!!
Wow, this was one hell of a project, and it didn't really help that it was so damn HOT. I mean, it's hard to be objective when you're turned on.
I actually gave this project to Michiru to sub ages ago, so long ago I can't even remember. Sometime during the summer holidays anyway, I'm guessing late July. Anyway, she has a life, and this wasn't the easiest project to do, so she didn't exactly churn it out in record time, but we got a very rough script. Some Japanese speakers aren't exactly pros at hentai vocab, and she's one of them (I used to be pretty horrible at sex vocab too), unfortunately for us. But you still did good!
So, next stage we have timing and typesetting, and who's better for the job than our dear Bob64! He did tell me that he would take a while because he had someone over at his place, so I said "okay, it's not a big deal". This was like early August I think, and he really meant it when he said he would be occupied; I didn't get the timed script back until late August, and although there were barely any timing mistakes at all, there were a million things that needed to be fixed in all aspects.
So, because I was about to go back to school and could not clean up the script a little, I sent it to Gelmax for editing, and he definitely does not live in ideal fansubbing conditions. Furthermore, he had to work on a script with "????" all over the place and some badly worded sentences, and unfortunately, even though Gelmax has solid editing skills, you can only go so far if you don't know Japanese.
So, I eventually got the script back, and this was several days after w.0.0.f had released their version. I wasn't very happy at all about being beaten to the mark despite having started working on this for so long, but I couldn't just drop the project because everyone had already done their part. So I spent slightly over 3 hours fixing translation issues, adding details that were missed, retiming a few lines, splitting lines that were too long, fixed badly worded lines, fiddled with the punctuation etc. It didn't really help that the sex was awesome and I had to ignore what my dick was telling me to do in order to catch as many errors as I could.
Turns out that even after that, the script wasn't up to our usual standards, and when Bob64 had encoded version one and sent it back to me on Saturday morning, I was out wavesurfing with some friends and flirting with girls on my friend's party boat the whole day and didn't get back until late at night. So when I finally got around to checking it, there was one horrible error and lots of little improvements that could be made, and, well, let's just say nothing went right until well past midnight, hence us releasing it this morning.
As you can see, it was a pretty rough project for all of us and I'm really glad it's out and absolutely awesome in all aspects. So, kudos to the team for a wonderful effort, and enjoy the release!
