>Implying NTR = bad story
That said allot of netorare stories are bad. In my opinion it's harder to make a good netorare story, but at the same time you can get away with a bad one much more easialy than you can bad vanilla.
Like this for example, is a great netorare story;

The protagonist kid is getting lucky harem hentai logic, and when three girls are nailing someone for no reason, said person honestly shouldn't be surprised when they get taken from him. I mean if you want to be realistic, anyone who actually does keep up a harem for fun might just deserve to get netorare'd.
To boot, when he kinda realizes what's going on in the end, instead of crying like he's Shinji he openly states that "happiness isn't something that's handed to you," something allot of vanilla books do constantly.
There are plenty of other good netorare situations, like the "your boyfriends an asshole!" setup. Of course, I feel more like a typical vanilla fan who's found a way to like netorare instead of someone who just enjoys it naturally.
Sorry for being off topic though, but as you can see I'm usually pretty concerned with the story. It's not really because the story itself is that much more important than the art, but simply because I see fewer good stories than I do good bodies. I'll be able to enjoy a story based manga and an art based manga equally, but I'm not going to suggest art based things to people I know since it usually doesn't feel like a "good find".
