Yeah, the anime succeeded in raking big bucks but the story really suffered imo. They left out a lot of interesting and controversial ideas that were mentioned in the light novels like society becoming more female dominant and such.

Still, option 3 would assume that they would also make American ship girls. If they do, I really hope to the gods they do not rush the designs and make them all seemingly identical in costume and other aspects. Either that or make the American side with alien ships which will be disappointing.

Well abyss ships pretty much the Allied ships. In the game, their equips use inches instead of centimeters.

Enterprise gets good fan work, I'll admit that. The producers could easily pick out and take from these arts what they like and use it.
