Well with internet multiplayer, split screen multiplayer is literally dead.
It was nice touch, because playing next to your friend is more fun.

Yeah, splitscreen was fun when you had a friend over. The two of you arguing about not peeking at each other's side of the screen. Good times, I still play them old PS2 games when they come over as well.

Shoving each other when playing racing games, peeking when playing good old MedalofHonor/CoD 1-3. Trully fun times.
I think most of FPS already deleted the split screen, only Racing or bullethell games left.

Ah, a few co op shooters still do splitscreen. Like Army of Two and probably some others. Focus is definitely on the online gameplay though.

Oh well it's just too bad if it doesn't have any splitscreen. I was hoping for training with my brothers before actually going online.

Too hard to ask that they use a system that allows you to host private matches with people you know? I really hate when multiplayer games use an auto matchmaking system.

Agreed. Now that I think about it, it seems that is some sort of storyline implemented in the multiplayer mode. I wonder how will that affect the progress of the match? I'm just not accustomed with a story during modes like deathmatch or maybe they thought of entire new modes exclusive to the game.

Well that sounds interesting if the story is actually implemented into the multiplayer. I'm pretty sure there are some co op modes in the game but I'm not sure how well it'd be if it were a part of say a TDM match.
