I find it easier than French at least. Still, gender assignment for nouns is something I don't really understand sometimes.
Laggy sniper is hardest challenge, at my best I could probably nail a head shot after maybe 6-7 practice shots and if I didn't kill the guy with them. What game are you playing?
I used to be in the Alpha, game used to run fine (on laptop, anyway).
Came back now, and holy fu***, that's a lot of lag.
I have it turned down to minimum setting, so I *should* be getting a smooth experience.
I'm guessing, maybe some stuff in the background is causing it, like Steam, or lag or something.
It's kinda annoying, because I used to be pretty good at it, but now I'm all scrub/grenade spam, became my default fighting style is *hit the fucker across the map, and kill him before he realizes what is going on*.
Still, it does make my accurate range kills all the more awesome. Like "LAG WILL NOT STTTTOPPP MMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"
Planetside 2 is where most of my lag experience comes from, large ass map with loads of other players. Don't usually snipe when I play but I do when it's fun and am taking potshots at guys.
But yeah, I know that feel when you get a good shot lagging. I've been too out of gaming recently, don't know how well I'd do with the lag now.
Well, at any rate, I will probably get back to my desktop in 4-6 months time, and when I do that, I'll probably be able to significantly improve my in-game performance.
Though to be fair, Hawken players are much less of a dicks than LoL ones, so it's not like people complain about me. Especially, not when my grenades set their kills up. I have like, a massive list of assists now. Mostly because I can't get the killing shots in.
Next time I move though, I will take my desktop with me. Hopefully in the place of something as terribly useful as...my suit, I guess? Which my parents had forced me to take, and hasn't been used for anything. Or 34 different utensils that I will have to leave behind anyway.
Never played LoL but I've seen videos of it's players at their worst. Does not help appeal me to the game. Planetside 2 also has its fair share of a-holes but once you join a group, the experience is apparently better.
I'd definitely bring my desktop with me if I were moving. My laptop is pretty alright for gaming but would prefer my desktop just cause.
I used to be pretty big on LoL, but enough is enough.
My laptop used to be decent, but it just doesn't cut it anymore. I would have brought my desktop PC, but this time, I was moving between continents, and just couldn't afford to pack it on the airplane.
But once I get back to Europe, my next move will be somewhere within the borders, so I can just force to load it up on the car. It's not that big anyway.
...It's not really that fun. Basically, I have absolutely none, long-term relationships in real life at this point. Well, that, and I actually hate traveling. Car and plane rides make me sick (although not enough to use it as an excuse).
