my counter argument is:
I will asked the killer first why do want know where my love one is?

then I will answer I will not tell you where they are because you'll kill them.

I know that you are lying because it's convenient. but what lying do is just add more confusion in this world.
you see, I always see the world and people as somewhat all connected.

for example:
the employee lied that she is sick and didn't call early to her office.
her supervisor was caught off guard and lied to her manager.
the manager lied to the head of the office.
the head of the office was stress out and came back home
when she came back home her wife nagged her why shes late
and the head of the office lied to her wife
the wife had an affair with another man
her son caught her and wife lied to her son
the son lied to school when asked about his family

and so on and so forth

next example:

you lied to your friend that you're not paying attention on what she is saying
then after that you had a conversation with the some group and your friend
and you later said something that she said.
it might not be that noticeable but this will effect your friendship but just a little
you will be friends but that can effect someone it might be good or bad it's up what your friend is like.


what I mean clarity and transparency is important hiding something won't help I believe.
