Something about Vampire Requiem.
Is that anything like the game Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines?
Close. I wanna base a sort of guild (kinda like what this mansion and Section 101 have) based on Vampire: The Requiem, the successor to Vampire: The Bloodlines. Surprised you know about it.
While I don't know much about Requiem, I used to own bloodlines and I loved the idea of that game. I SO want someone like Bethesda to get the rights to remake it. Can you imagine? A walk-around, open ended rpg world based on those clans and the rules? Wou;d be amazing.
Requiem only uses 5 major clans, but that would probably make for a more detailed game (less clans, less hassle). And I wouldn't go to Bethesda just yet. If the new engine Skyrim is based on is bug-free, unlike Bethesda's previous games, like Oblivion and Fallout 3, then maybe, but I'd give it to Bioware.
So, yeah. My thread would be based on this theme. :)
Yeah Bethseda does rush things sometimes, but the user content is always great since mods are pretty much demanded, and the design model is often pretty interesting. That's why I say them.. Bioware doesn't always have the same open-ness to their games.
Still, I do see your point, Bethseda engines can be a bit clunky. Either way, if either Bioware or Bethseda redid and added to that game, or even did a new one, it would be a must get for me.
They have less clans huh? My guess then is that the malks are gone? They'd be hard for some people to use in a more tight ended storyline.
