Oh okay. Though I probably should try sleeping now finally feeling really sleepy.
Uhhh.... You can only get cards from random drops (very hard to get Rares here) or buying Boosters. There're 2 different Booster types(actually there're 3, but the last one is still sealed): Gold and Silver. Gold has two types: 1 card (for 5 Crystals) or 5 cards (for 25 Crystals). Silver has two types, too: 1 card (for 200 Coins) or many cards based on your Coins and free slot in Deck (like, if you have 2000 coins and have 10 free slots, you can buy 10 cards at once). Gold ensure you to get Rare (R) card at least (if you buy the 5 one, you're guarantee to get at least 1 SR). Silver will net you with Normal, High Normal, or R (rarely).
Now the currencies in this game:
1. Crystal: Very rare. You get 5 at the beginning, get 1 each time you finishing a Mission (either Story, Daily, or Special Event), or randomly get 1 (or more) as Daily login bonus. Crystal is the important one, for you can buy Gold booster, improving your deck (adding free slots, Partner slots, Coins, Upgrade Points, etc), buy Gold or Silver items before Mission(I'm not sure what are their effects, though), buy a Continue (if you die during a Quest). You can buy Crystal with real moneh, of course... >.>
2. Coins: You get 5 each time you bring a Partner that's not from your Friend list. If you choose Partner from your Friend list, you get 10 Coins ONCE for each friend per day (meaning, if you choose the same friend as Partner in the same day, you won't get more). You also get Coins randomly as Daily login bonus. Coins only work (so far) to buy Silver booster.
3. Upgrade Points: You get this whenever you finished a Quest (along with Exp), or randomly as Daily login bonus. As the name suggested, it works for leveling and upgrading your cards. Exp is to increase your character level, by the way, to increase your Stamina (limit of how many times you can do a Quest or what Quest you can do), Card limit Size (your max size of total cards you bring in battle), and Friend list (how many Friend's Partners that you can have).
Your Deck can only hold 50 cards by default, so it's impossible to collect all cards (except you spend LOTS OF YEN). Given that each elements have their strength and weakness against other elements (Fire > Wind, Wind > Ice, Ice > Fire, Light >< Dark), it'll be very difficult to progress if you only have one mono-element deck after Mission 10.
Have a nice dream, Katsu-chan. Beware of bed-bugs!
