Welcome, all!
The last contest I held was won by me, so I felt like holding another one!
However, I won't be participating in this contest, so no need to worry about that!
It's not a contest for money or glory, but for art!
I will be doing something in an art style similar to my 45-minute commissions, like these two:
It will be drawn over at least 72 hours minimal, so expect it to be much cleaner and more detailed.
Also, it will be in color!
It will be my first color commission in a long time, but I'll do my best to ensure high quality.
BTW the second of those two images is an unfinished commission for Gravity Cat and the first is a personal commission, also unfinished - both will be penned, colored and shaded eventually.
Anyway, in this commission, the winner will get to PM me any picture of an anime-style character they want it to be based on, and I will be doing something similar based on that picture - It won't be the art style of the picture, but in my own art style seen above!
Literally any picture.any anime style character art.
I will sign it and mail it to an address or P.O. box of the winner's choice! There will only be 1 copy of it in the entire world, so treasure it in case I become a famous artist later, lol!
If it's not a character from another work, as in, an original character, I will be placing notes on the back stating credits to the artist of the original work - otherwise, I'll just note the character and series/game/whatever they came from.
This is to ensure that I don't violate copyright laws or the rights of the artists who created the characters!
The deadline to this contest is at 00:00:00 UTC tomorrow (August 24th by the UTC clock), I will be pming Jacob soon to ask what time zone the posts are shown in on the forums and I can differentiate based on that.
The UTC time clock being used for this contest is this site.
Anyway, here are the rules!
1. You must be the last poster in this thread before the deadline, which is at exactly 0 minutes and 0 hours UTC.
2. Posting multiple times doesn't increase your chances, but you must post at least once before the deadline to be considered a contest participant. So, 2 posts minimum. I recommend waiting until closer to the deadline to make a second post, as close as possible to maximize your chances.
3. Do not troll other users in this thread if you want the prize - I can't forbid trolling obviously, but I will highly discourage it. If someone's enough of an asshole to someone else in this thread and creates too much unnecessary drama, they'll be taken off the potential list of winners. Note that I decided on this to keep the shitposting and arguments to a minimum, so thank me later ^_^. If someone is taken off the list, they will be notified by PM since I don't want to publicly humiliate anyone.
4. Don't ask me to take someone off the list, and don't be upset of who gets chosen - this is a fairly impartial contest, so anyone can win as long as they follow the rules above. No one's exempt except as specified by the rules above.

P.S. I still have several ongoing and waiting commissions for sketches, but those will be placed on hold temporarily since I can only borrow the colored pencil set for one day. This gets maximum priority.

Update: As of this post it's 8:35pm on Fakku forums and 3:35(24-hour clock so PM would be 15:35) on the UTC clock.
