Hmm this is actually a rather tricky question to answer as no doubt many people think they are the exact same thing. But actually there are quite a few differences that make spending time in a gentleman’s club and a strip club quite different experiences. Sure you are going to be seeing some sexy ladies in both of them, but there are many differences between the two a few of which you can see down below.

Let’s Start With The Clothes

Sorry to disappoint you, but we are not talking about thongs and nipple tassels here, but the clothes guys wear when they go to a strip club or a gentleman’s club. In most cases a strip club. Will let you wear whatever you want. Of course there may be some exemptions, but for the most part what you have on is not an issue. A gentleman’s club on the other hand will 99/100 have a much more strict dress code, shirt, slacks and a general smartness are usually required.

Wild Or Laid Back?

One of the biggest differences between the two that most people who have been to a strip club and a gentleman’s club will tell you, is the general vibe. In a strip club, guys are usually a little bit more wild, rowdy and a little bit more rock and roll if you will. This kind of behaviour to an extent is allowed and most strip clubs want a group of dudes to have a fun time as they are more likely to spend more money. A gentleman’s club though is much more laid back and dignified where guys are expected to be a little more low key and relaxed as they take in the sexy naked ladies.

Extras On Offer

Ok so this one right here is a little bit awkward to talk about. But there is no way in hell that the majority of strip clubs out there are going to be offering their girls as escorts. It just is not done and if you brought it up to a stripper the only thing her hand will be touching is your face as she slaps it! However, gentleman’s clubs despite their more upmarket appearance are more known to offer escort services than a strip club. I am not saying that all girls who dance at gentleman’s clubs offer escort services, but it is more common at these types of places.

One Is Looked Upon Better Than The Other

Ok this is one that any person who has been to a strip club and or gentleman’s club can relate to. But for some reason strip clubs are still looked at by some people as kind of seedy places. Now sure there may be some clubs like this. But for the most part, strip clubs are more like a fun time bar that just so happen to have ladies their taking their clothes off! A gentleman’s club on the other hand is looked at as something far more distinguished when really it at its most basic is still a place where ladies take their clothes off! It is very weird the way society frowns on strip clubs, but not gentleman’s clubs.

Money, Money. Money!!!

You want your money to go as far as possible on a night out and one of the biggest differences between a strip club and a gentleman’s club is money! Most of the time a gentleman’s club will require you to have a membership before you can get in. Or if they do let you in as a group on a random night, you can bet there is going to be a rather pricy cover charge at the door! Inside the gentleman’s club, you will be expected to spend a lot more money as well on drinks and of course tips. A strip club though can be a much cheaper evening as most of them will not have a cover charge and you can go in with a whole load of singles and have a pretty great time! The drinks and food (if you want to eat in a place with naked women of course) is generally cheaper in a strip club than a gentleman’s club as well.
