No Christmas Eve dinner with relatives this year. It was put on hold yesterday when my grandmother had to go to hospital.

This year's Christmas presents included some shirts, cinnamon cookies, gingerbread cookies, $400 in cash, and my grandmother still being alive for now.

That's not at all how I feel about the situation.

A painful reminder she may go soon. My paternal grandmother died this year. The one that treated me like a human. Every little health scare the past few years had us worried if this is when she'd go.

Sadly, I have to report that my grandmother passed away last night.

Sorry for your loss. I know how it is to lose a grandmother, especially one you are close to so I know you must be going through a lot. I hope that you can find strength in this time of sorrow, and remember the time you had with her. While it may be painful initially, you will some day be able to look back on it fondly I hope.
