Short answer: It depends.

Long answer: I don't like bland, generic anime anything, let alone hentai. There're far too many "loser guy hooks up with girl who is inexplicably in love with him" stories out there for me to shake a stick at. Ho hum. If there isn't real chemistry between the characters in a romance, why even bother with the pretext of a story? In the same vein, I'd rather pass up guro-style rape hentai and the like. I can't relate "repulsive" and "arousing" -- I just can't.

I like love hentai better. I cannot enjoy rape since most of the times while I'm fapping I like to pretend that I'm the one who's fucking the chick in the story, and I would feel a little guilty if I wasn't really satisfying her properly.

If the story consist on the chick not wanting at first to get raped, but turns out that she ends up liking it at the end, that I guess that's ok.

I'm always up for love stories, but rape has only a few exceptions. I only like rape if the quality is well drawn, and if the girl eventually submits to it. Bonus points if the girl ends up with "fucked retarded" eyes.

To sum it up, I like love, I fap to rape. (as long as it isn't doujin) But this is mainly because the art in rape doujins is alot more graphic and I like that, the love ones are usually very generic and clean, no fun at all :(
