I play MW2. Favorite LMG there. Even though AUG is in LMG class, i consider it an AR. But 100 bullets per mag, fast rate of fire make it good weapon for suppressive fire or teaming with Riot shield user.

Hope they at least checked the difference between StG77 and AUG machinegun versions. Like HB version or Support version... -.-

Well, In MW2 its AUG HBAR aka Heavy barrel, classified as LMG. But it feels out of place there. The gun kicks ass if you know how to handle it and its recoil.
