Laser weapons are not that effective there.
Keep it in bullets and rockets.
[color=#993300]As expected, but their not laser weapons per say. The pod, a targeting device, is released and laser designates targets for the RIM-791s to follow. Because they are designated with spectrum lasers crossing all electromagnetic frequencies, cloaking doesn't very well and plating must be thorough. Once designated, the pod keeps the RIM-791s on target and allows some counter-countermeasure ability. Very hard to dodge
