So I have a rather tsundere character in a story and her well 3rd boyfriend (they stack, she has 2 boyfriends and a girlfriend) seemed to forgo all the normal nonsense and he takes her on a magic carpet ride... and that works... in the notes I wrote it even says they sing.

Faeries engage in polyamory, so one person can have many partners and each of them may have many as well.

Ahh i see. Hmm... That kind of give's me mix'd feeling and seem's like the kind of stuff I would like to take part in.

it's a real thing, I mean they do it on a society wide scale, so its common for people to be related several ways by marriage.
Every Faerie in Clover's relationship is related by marriage at least (Takine is her second cousin and the two have relations and are married, Ivy is her first cousin and adopted sister but they do not have relations nor are they even married, Makemake is her step brother and he is also Takine's brother by adoption-he has relations with them both, and Ivy)

Clover's mother married her own cousin, Takine's mother (on her father's side), and another cousin on her mother's side. Takine's Mother also married her step brother.

Faeries have a fine line on what's incest...cousins will marry often, step siblings will marry often... only full and half siblings seem to be off limits (and of course parents/grandparents and aunts/uncles)

Umm... For someone like me, i wouldn't go down the route of incest, it just not my type of a taste. Ya, I definetly know people who take part in it, but i only seen it happen up to the age of 22-24. But seeing it happen between family member is very very rare. But I do have to say that something like that will be hard to keep track of, since theyre incest involve'd. I quess you have a really good memory. I once had the chance to take part in one between friends, but refuse'd since I was already devote'd to someone at the time but if I ever had the chance to be part in one, sure. Meh...I'm barely able to keep track of difficult movie's so I will probably lose intrest after a while.

The one family is super hard to keep track of in 1 generation, letalone a tree... I wrote it all down and it is utterly insane.

To give you an idea, the main character's father had 24 other partners other then her mother, and her mother had 15.
She had 3 full siblings and I believe 40? or so half siblings, at least.
Her father only had 2 other full siblings (and 60+ half siblings) while her mother had 14 full siblings (their union which was largely monogamous was a thing of legend around the forest since monogamy is so rare and 6 half).
That's 1 generation! I mean you tend to populate a lot when you live for thousands of years and have such an open attitude about sex, and children are raised by a village (as most marriages are the size of one).
I mean when a child reaches puberty they have a special dance to celebrate adulthood and someone, and it is a huge honour to be offered the chance to take someones virginity.
Usually it's someone older of the opposite sex.
