Mine did it a while ago as well. In this case the culprit was the graphics card overheating due to a dead fan. Works nicely with the new card.

Well I can hear the fan going, so I looked online and because I get no error codes it said uncheck automatic restarts in system settings.

Still sounds suspicious, though. We'll see if it helps, but I don't have much faith in it, automatic restarts shouldn't be that frequent.

I think mine wasn't even that old when it started to have problems. Weirdest thing I've had to live with was the display driver frequently dying. Sometimes the computer recovered by itself, sometimes restarted in the end. Took it quite a while to get over this...
