I just have LAME chosen on the Waveform tab, works well enough for me.

Everything in that tab is greyed out for me.
I'll just use this, it seems simple.

I don't even see such an option, but I'd certainly hope it uses normal.

I remember when trying to rip with lame last year it kept putting it in Joint but I'll see this time.
