Still long shifts?
yeah... and for no reason... the hours I stayed over helping the other shift.... they honestly didn't need me, the supervisor could have easily just worked their shift harder or step up themselves to handles the work load... >_>.
Tell them that?
some people don't want to work harder and want to have it easy
I can say what I want to my boss about things are run. Granted I'm one of his best so he wants to "keep me sweet" though... Means I have a hold over him though. Which I so do.
Lucky.
at my old place i was pretty much left to how wanted things done on my department. all manager would is tell me whats needing doing and i would do it how i wanted as long as it looked neat and didn't break any company policies, i was even gaven information, documents that i should have been given and are only meant for managers.
Took me a while to work up to that though.
Thing is my boss is only 2 years older than me. All I had to do is say yes to random overtime and various easy small tasks to make his life easier. He is a lazy useless twat though.
Then again I don't work in retail ^^'
