Why would you want auto characters? Would you want to be strategic in each of their moves?

ok then, guess that means you want a full turn based system.

Neptunia is full turn based, Persona is although I don't think thats on Steam. I don't use Steam so im not sure of everything on it. Some Final Fantasy games are Full turn based, others are active combat.

Im still leaning towards suggesting Neptunia

I saw people say don't let Nep die or all alliances are broken.

no idea what they are going on about, They might mean in the story like don't pick the wrong route? Beacuse characters die all the time and it means nothing, just revive them.

Though they also probably just mean that as a meme. Like "If you let my waifu die we are through"

I played all the Neptunia games and never encountered that problem
