Not judging without actually seeing it, of course, but at the same time, I was perfectly happy with the old one as well. I can see why they'd do a new one to promote the new VN releases, though.

Well, having finally seen it as well... The opening scene actually looked pretty good, but then... Dear god, will it be a pain to suffer through the horribly mangled character designs... Only the music makes it really worth it...
