Spoiler:
on a dark stormy night, a little boy had to go out to the post office box to put in a letter to his mother overseas...he has just finished writing it and couldnt wait to send it to the postman as soon as possible for it to be delivered to her..his voice and emotions transfused within the letter, and despite the weather outside the rain from the sky could not wipe the smile off his face. as he ran across the footpath towards the letter box, a car came rushing aroun the corner, headlights beaming brightly onto the kids face, blinding him at sight...in that moment of brightness the kid noticed a shadow figure move acorss the street, and after the car passed by he began to detour his journey to the mailbox by walking towards the shadowy figure on the other side of the road. as he got there the dark figure scattered around the brick wall, and as the kid leaned his head over and looked around, he saw ..a black cat. just an ordinary black at, with yellow eyes that seem to be beaming at him brighter than the headlights on the car that just went pass. As the boy started to lean over and wondered who the owner of the cat is, he notice a small bell attached around the cats neck..seemingly not resisting the cat allows for his advances as he reaches his hand out towards the bell, a lot bigger than he first thought as it wa shidden well within the cats fur..gently lifting the bell so the whole shape is visible..under the heavy rain and dark skys he could barely make out the writing on it, but with his fingers he could feel that there were words engraved on it....s...i.r..h..c...seems to be the letters he felt, so it seems the cat must belong to someone by that name...suddenly a FLASH came from the sky...a quick flash of lightnight came tumbeling down and struck one of the trees. The impact was explosive and split the tree in half..while at the same time the vines of life split in half and started its decent towards the the black cat...with no room to move due to the brick wall in the way, the boy could only resort to using his body to try to protect the cat being hurt..as the brach was close to crash, he felt a large tuck from behind him, something that felt lke a hand had grabbed his shirt from behind and pulled him away from the flaling tree trunk..'thank you for saving my cat'..as the boy turned around and try to thank the person who saved him, he saw noone..silence..nothing..just the sound of rain still falling from the sky...however in the haze of the rain, a figure of a similar size of him seems to linger, taking its form only through the drips of water on this hollow body.
