1) Engaged or married couples with or without children are given priority when purchasing a house.
2) If you are lawfully married and have children, the government hands you cash gifts (Baby Bonus an incentive to get couples to procreate) pegged according to the birth order. Children born out of wedlock do not get to enjoy this.
3) LOL, I can't think of one right now... but the sex with the one you love can be really sweet.
1 and 2 are incentives for marriage but do not speak for the actual greatness of marriage itself. 3 is an irrelevant point, as you can have sex without marriage.
edit: marriage as investment is a very pragmatic point of view, but then it is simply a contractual agreement without any love, which, I think defeats the sacredness of exchanging vows and so forth. Though... "'til death do us part" would make more sense if marriage was simply a strict contractual agreement to be upheld
