[color=#A020F0] Doing fine~. A bit tired now though, had a busy day. A bit buzzed/drunk too.
[color=#ff69b4]Drinking. Hm.... not a fan.
[color=#A020F0]Had a tall glass of a rum and pineapple juice mix drink, and 2 tall glasses of a drink called Sex On The Beach which consists of vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, and orange juice. They're both so delicious!
What does the alcohol exactly add to those different fruit juices? Just curious. I've vowed never to drink alcohol since something in High School, but these do sound interesting.
some people like the taste of alcohol and each one has it's own unique taste. Wine's can range from sweet to sour to bitter. Vodka can taste more like rubbing alcohol. Tequila has more of a sour burning taste. Whisky is flavorful yet robust and burns when you drink it.
The main thing with alcohol is the effect it can have on you. It allows you to feel more relaxed and loosen up (it's a depressant so it inhibits you to an extent). Great to unwind at the end of the day or become more social at events.
The only issue is learning your limits and what the effect it will have on you. Some alcohol and people will become mean and angry drinkers. Some get depressed other's become sloppy drunks (though with enough booze anyone can get to this point).
I know for me I get really silly and fun, but I have to be careful since my stomach is sensitive to alcohol in general. I usually stick with simple drinks like a rum and coke or vodka and cranberry juice. Bloody mary's aren't too harsh on me.
All of it is a trial and error sort of thing.
Oh and to answer your question the juices help tame the strong alcohol flavor down so its tolerable to drink. I know I like when I can only taste a hint of alcohol in my drinks rather then drink them strait up. Rum and coke tastes like a vanilla coke to me lol.
Wow, okay, I think I understand, lol.
On the note of the different tastes of alcohol, I might tolerate wine one of these days since there are sweeter ones apparently, but other things don't sound very appealing to me. The fact that you described a burning taste kinda freaks me out, lol. Also, the way you described vodka... Not sure how people do it, sometimes, lol.
I have yet to discover what becomes of me when I'm drunk, but I'm a little scared because my uncle told me he was gonna try to get me drunk on my 21st birthday (next year XO). Meanwhile, most of my friends are silly and fun drunks, too, and others are just sleepy drunks, I guess, rofl.
