Slightly bored. Taking a break from anime to watch MTG videos.

[color=#ff69b4]I never really got into MTG a lot. I was more of a Yu-gi-oh player, but now I just play Hearthstone when I fell like it.

I'm trying to make it into the competitive scene in MTG, actually. I'd like to qualify and go to the gigantic tournaments.

It is. You seriously need to get drunk at least once gawd.

I've play in some little tournaments for some fighting games and their ok.

Thanks, I kinda need it... I've only been to one qualifier, where I barely missed Top 8. I can't go to many yet, unfortunately.



Lol, Magic is a card game.

I'm pretty bad at fighters, too, but at least I can hold my own against a pro player for probably a couple of seconds XP. I play casually, not as hardcore as most of my friends (if it wasn't for them, I probably would never play fighting games).

[color=#ff69b4]I remember taking first in 2 of them playing Super Smash Bros Melee that was fun and boring.

It kinda surprises me that people take SSB so seriously, actually. I've only ever seen it as a party game. It's fun with all the wacky stuff, yet some people I play with refuse to use items or go on any of the interesting maps in favor of a 'competitive environment'.

I mean, I've seen pro plays and they seem cool, but I actually don't lose very often to some friends who treat it so competitively. Makes me wonder if there's a need for such fanciness and skill, cus I'm a spammer in that game when I play people like that. =P

[color=#ff69b4]It's the same way with games like MvC. It's a party game, but it's played competitively and it's one of the top 3 most played fighting games to be played competitively.

MvC is more respectable to me, though. At least there's a small bit of complexity to combos and such. =P

[color=#ff69b4]But when you watch two pro's play SSB at something like EVO it's one of the best fucking things you'll ever see.

I saw it... It didn't seem as exciting as everything else for me...

I can't believe I missed out on it, though. I watched through some highlights, and they were insane. I'm not a good fighting gamer at all, but man, it's still exciting to watch, for the most part.
Besides that, the commentators really know how to hype it up.

I played generally well in Yu-Gi-Oh too, when it was simpler

I'm a monster at Texas Hold 'Em, lol. My granddad taught me a bunch of tricks. He used to work at the Hotel and Casino we frequently go to in Reno, and thus, our family are VIPs there. It's awesome.

I played some funny YGO decks back in the good era when things didn't get so needlessly complex and utterly broken. That said, I promised an old friend that I'd get back into it, if an Exodia deck becomes more consistently good.
I love Exodia, it's so troll when you win by revealing your hand and showing them that you've assembled all the pieces. It was the only deck I played.
