Leaves are falling, shits getting cold and christmas draws near, its time for fakkus (sixth) annual

SECRET SANTA EVENT!!

Description of the event:
In Secret Santa, individuals in the group of participants are given a person to find a gift for, and are also themselves assigned to another to receive a gift from. It should remain anonymous on who is to give who a present(hence, being a secret santa), until Christmas day when the gift are to be distributed.

Post here saying you'd like to join this year's event and I'll add your name to a list that I'll (try to) update regularly.

*Protip*: You can also add hints to help your secret santa figure out things you like!

How many peeps do I get assigned to?
One person per individual.

How do I get assigned?
I'll use a lottery method in order to group you up. After the end of the sign-up period, I will send a PM to every Secret Santa the name of their individual by December 1st. Special Note: I will give you 5 Days after sending PMs to comply and reply a confirmation PM to me. If you fail to do so, you are booted out of the game!

What can I give?
Since you're giving a gift online, be creative! :V You could write a well thought-out poem/story dedicated to that person. Perhaps you could spend some time and draw them an awesome picture, complete with color and whatnot? Perhaps you could make a video? How about a signature? Pour your heart into it!

ALSO: If you plan on giving Steam Games, please check if your recipient is in the same Region as you - namely US, Europe, Asian States. About a Year ago Steam changed Trading Restrictions so that most games can only be activated in the region they were bought!

Also, It'd be cool if it was X-mas themed. Not mandatory though.

When and how do I give my gift?
You may reveal yourself and your present to the person in question in this thread as early as December 24th, 2016! You may give it in a Personal message to the person, or publicly display it in the thread for all to see. ^^

Bah humbug! Don't like 'em? Either try to get into the holiday spirits and make amends or drop out.

What if I need to drop out?
Please! Say as early as you can that you will drop out! It will be hard to keep people in the loop if someone decides to do a last minute dive!

Signup ends on Wdnesday, November 30th on 11:59 pm GMT + 1.

Participants will receive the names of their receiver by December 1st to 2nd at 11:59PM.

Thereafter, you have from December 24th to the 26th give your gift![/b][/i]

You may as well use this as a chat thread instead of me making another thread Feel free to give hints on stuff you like, or even try to inquire about the person you may have gotten. All I ask is that everyone enjoys themselves ^^

also, should you happen to get me as your target, while it may no longer be secret, I do hope you still have fun making me a gift ^^

To make things simple if people drop out, lots will be drawn in a Round Robin way, meaning everyone gifts someone in a Ring

if gifting someone a book is a ok and not considered a half arsed gift then i wound't mind getting involved.

a gift is still a gift if it comes from the heart (or chest-cavity for some people). I think people wont mind getting a Book.

As long as you think about what you give and not just pick anything at random

it probably will be random, not unless i know what book they want or what taste they are into.

Interestingly enough, I'd probably prefer one of the books I would buy least as a gift, since I want to buy the others as physical copies anyway. :D

I do plan to buy most books, but I'll likely not bother with a physical copy of Ima♡Real or Metamorphosis, for example. Might make an exception for the other Gunma book, got to read it over the free weekend and it wasn't actually as bad as Tokoharu (which, along with Hanafuda, I also have digital only). Unlikely to buy physical Overfiend as well. And, of course, then there are the doujin releases that don't even get any physical release, which work well too for this reason.
