Actually, the Senate is Democratic, and the house is Republican
But well, there are still enough republicans and democrats to pull the plugs on each other. Both sides have isolated themselves, and America of today has become the most partisan government we;ve ever had. Instead of limiting how much corporations make, it would be better to tax rich for more, that would create more revenue while meanwhile ensuring that corporations have enough to handle any task or problem at hand. Medicare and Social Security combined are draining more than Defense budget
Medicare is i believe around 15% whereas SS is larger than Defense i think
But that doesnt mean that we need to spend so much. We spend more on our defense budget than the next top 21 nations combined.
We could save hundreds of billions by cutting our defense budget. In addition, if OBama hadn't retardly proposed that Medicare plan, we would have saved hundreds of billions more again. And we definitely need to cut SS
Its not really the Republicans fault, but they aren't blame free either. Its both parties, they're both unwilling to compromise at all, and thats causing a shitload of problems.
Yeah, a lot more need to go towards education. Education is but a tiny fraction of the discretionary spending, a mere few percent. Well, if we cut more from the above, we could have more for discretionary spending while at the same time cutting our debt
I hug that statement. XD
