Why is it Filipino with an 'F', instead of a 'P'. I always figured that names for the people of a country coiencided with the name of the country itself.
Being an ignorant American who knows nothing of other countries has left me kinda clueless about this.

Filipino is for english,
Pilipino is for tagalog.

Pilipino is the tagalog one.
