Good Touching Anime to Watch?

I finished an anime called Kotoura-san a day ago because I saw the NTR doujinshi, the comments drove me to search and watch the anime. The anime turned out to be a very heartwarming, romantic (a little) and touching story. so, are there other anime similar to this, one that is depressing at first then happy at the end (just please not NTR) or something bittersweet? Please let me know if you did watch similar anime which are non-hentai.
Thanks for any feedback. Also, I don't want any long anime like naruto and bleach, I ain't got time for that many episodes. Just maybe those that are maybe 25-50 episodes will be suffice. Thanks again.
