It was about a young girl who fell in love with a young boy she was friend with for a very long time. I can't really recall the exact details but something bad happened to the boy, he might have died, he might have caught an incurable disease, he might have disappeared... But all I could see was a heartbroken girl, on her knees, crying and wishing she could see him again, wishing from her heart that she could save him. Through her crying, she heard a deep voice echoing through her head, that mysterious voice told her :
"Young maiden, you possess the power to time leap, with it, you will be able to see and save the one who you hold so dear"
The girl, who desperately wanted to save the boy paid no mind to all the questions she had but immediately asked the voice how. The voice proceeded to explain the procedures to her, but, there was a huge drawback...
"If you time leap, the boy's memories of you will have a high chance of being wiped away, he might be leaving a different life from what you currently know of. If you time leap way too often, the boy's memories, going through constant memory arrangements, will end up collapsing. In the worst case scenario, he will disappear from all existence."
The girl was stricken by sadness, but she wanted to see him so much, she wanted to see him smile, see him laugh, feel his warmth and be by his side again... Seeing her determination made me feel really heartbroken by the consequences she might have to go through. Without hesitation, the girl time leapt and ended up in the past.
She didn't take time to find the one she loves, she managed to land in a park, where the boy was. But to her dismay, the boy was smiling and laughing with another girl. The couple decided to leave the park happily and the girl decided to trail them. They were of course, on a date. The girl was really hurt, but seeing him so happy made her have conflicted feelings.
The couple decided to stop at a store and the girlfriend bought the boy a gift, the heroine, not too far from them, heard the boy saying how he'd cherish it. The girl couldn't take it anymore and as I saw her, lost in thoughts, crossing the road while paying no mind to the traffic and a truck rapidly coming towards her, I screamed at he top of my lungs but she couldn't hear me, I was just an observer.
The boy hears all the honking and the surrounding people panicking, turned around and saw the girl about to get hit by the truck. He suddenly rushed to her, screamed out her name, pushed her out of the way and sacrificed himself in her stead.
The young girl had a rough time trying to figure what happened, but when she came back to herself, she realized that the boy was laying on the ground meters away, still. She ran to him and noticed that he was no longer alive... She shook him, screamed out his name and saw in his hand, the gift that he promised to cherished with the girl he was with. She noticed... It was the same gift she gave him when they were out on a school trip, the same gift where he made the very same promise... She started tearing but suddenly remembered how he screamed her name out loud before pushing her out of the way. She thought right at that moment, that he still remembers her, somewhere deep in his heart, he still remembers how they had fun together.
She was determined to save him once more, she didn't care about the consequences, thus, she time leapt once more.
She ended once more, near where the boy was, but this time around, they were near the sea, at a harbor. She rushed to him and pulled his arm and ran. When they got far enough, she didn't say anything, but just smiled at him and acted like everything was normal. The boy, after regaining his breath, asked the girl : "Hey... Is everything alright? It's so unlike you to pull me and run off like that suddenly, jeez, don't pull this off again later ______"
I couldn't hear the girl's name but I could see in her face, tears about to flow down her soft red cheeks, how happy she was when he said her name and how he remembered her. But when she was about to open her mouth, a girl suddenly appears and grabbed the boy and screamed at the heroine
"Hey, what are you doing with my boyfriend?!"
The heroine was shocked at the sudden development, tired from everything that happened in such a short period of time, she snapped, pulled out the gift she brought back from the previous time and shouted at the boy as she burst into tears
"Don't you remember your promise? Do you remember this gift? Please, please I beg you, remember, remember everything!!"
Right when she finished yelling, a surge of pain suddenly went through his head, it hurt so much that he dropped on his knees, his hands on his head, yelling out painful groans. The heroine panicked and didn't know what to do, she tried to hold and embrace him but it didn't help much... The girl, wanting to save and see him again, ended up hurting the one she loved... That's a fact that she couldn't ignore and bear with...
The pain got more and more intense, the boy kept shouting and yelling his sufferings until he passed out, the girl couldn't bear it, left the boy and ran away... While running , she heard the mysterious voice echoing through her head
"The boy's mind is about to collapse, what are you going to do young maiden...?"
