Whiskey in general, but scotch is my main poison.

I've never actually tried any of the Japanese malts, but I plan to. Not entirely sure, but I think that there's some history between the two- wherein they traded and shared techniques for their brews.

The history behind Japanese Whisky is really interesting. If you can, get your hands on the Yamazaki 18yo single malt. Hits like a truck full of flavor. It's probably my favorite bottle tied with Glenmorangie Signet.
