what's up with that "embrace your enemy with you breast" philosophy in grenadier. How can people be serious with that, lol
though i loved the bouncing breasts part
they should've made the series longer
Its actually "taking away your opponent's will to fight." Rushuna's philosophy is that the best strategy is to use a smile to break your opponent's will to fight. I suppose a hug works too, especially with guys, because of her abnormally large tits. Why would you want to kill a girl who's willing to let you cop a feel?
i did say, remove their will to fight(i did edit it a second later, so no worries, i often review my comments to see if they're reasonable and correct)
but still, if your enemies are to be serious about killing you, would u waste time trying to "smile", "embrace" or whatever to remove their will to fight, i'll bet they're gonna put a bullet on your head before that happens, of course, in anime, anything happens, but i personally think that's a bit outside the practical boundary.
When I was originally writing the response, I made a remark about it being pretty naive and I don't know why I left it out because it is and like you said its kind of a long-shot anywhere other than anime. There a little validity to it, because its not completely impossible to make a philosophy along those lines work. Obviously, there are irrational assholes and people with some pathological predisposition to murder. However, for most people there is a moment between anger and "bang your dead" when there is a sense of uncertainty, where they can be convinced to stop. Murderers and criminals in general have a tendency to hurt others or kill them for the sake of hurting or killing them. They can't exactly satisfy their desires when their victim is willing to smile, say "do what you have to," and accept the worst case scenario. There are a lot of cases where it could work out, but I don't feel like getting into anymore of a rant than I already have.
hell, i'd be freaked out if i were to kill someone and they smile at me and say "do what u have to"
of course, in the end u're right on ur part, but practical boundaries are practical boundaries, when one is resolved enough to kill another, i believe he's aware of his own desire and determination to kill based on his anger or whatever that caused it, unless he's some street punk(or irrational assholes and people with some pathological predisposition to murder) asking for lunch money with a gun(those cases, of course, can't be overlooked). Absolute or Exact matters don't exist(i think we can agree on that, well, maybe God is a special case), there're simply too many possibilities to fully consider in order to make an Absolute or Exact statement of things, after all as they say, nothing is impossible. Then we come back to common sense again, common sense is mostly what i base my arguments on, say practically u're either the executioner or the victim in the situation of kill or be killed, it's hard for one to imagine they'd come to a peaceful resolution with simply a smile or a hug(of course, this is not an Absolute statement, as u said, it "can" happen).
and it still pisses me off how u can argue so precisely and correctly(no offense though, consider that as a compliment), i outta study more philosophy.
