Looking into the past blacks have had less then fair treatment regarding law. Due to that I always think their a racial bias and not just towards blacks

Disregarding the fact that you gave me a Huffington Post link, her sentence seems unjustifiable but I can't take Huffpo's word for it and if I get the time I would like to read more on it, but that doesn't necessarily prove there was a racial bias in this case, which is what I asked.
Not gonna act like I can prove anything but I believe their was. For consistency's sake if not for anything else.
After much reading from sources that weren't biased I can see why she was arrested although I still think the punishment wasn't unfair.
She instigated the situation.
She went to her ex-husband's house, picked a fight with him, left to get her gun, and returned to try and shoot him. In this case, she showed she wasn't in such danger that attempting to flee would only get her killed.

Uh. The whole situation makes me feel bad.Zimmerman did shoot in self defense, and pictures of him after the incident show him bruised and beaten up.
Yet at the same time all of this could have been avoided if Zimmerman just listened to the dispatcher.
Rather than spending our time to celebrate(people who insist that Zimmerman did nothing wrong) or riot(people who claim it's a race issue), we should be using it for self reflection.
This sums it up pretty much for me. A life was lost and people should remember that instead of using it to provoke violence and disorder.

It's not talking about it I dislike, but people still accusing it of being a race issue when there's no solid evidence that it had anything to do with race that I dislike. Nothing "wrong" with it; I just find it useless when it's done after-the-fact.
