Plus no english ones yet. Except for that weird comic strip one.
He doesn't specifically state that doujins are getting removed completely, only that unlicensed content is for the sake of further business deals with publishers (which includes doujins).
So I can only assume that I'm missing something. Are doujins frowned upon in Japan therefore will never get properly licensed, or something?
I think it more the copyright holder who the doujin is parodying that might be the problem. Original work doujinshi seem fine. Jacob hasn't say anything about it so i have no idea if the parody artist said sure if it will come to fakku. Might be a issue outside japan to the license holders here in the US or EU. Not sure if it was free vs pay per doujin.
I don't think it the doujin since we sell bosshi's thing and the cure assort one. Might be artist saying it's cool over the company who owns the right to the series.
I'm kinda confused, are you talking about copyrights of people who make the hentai (and are having their work published without their consent) or the copyright holders of an anime/manga series (that people are then making hentai of)?
The people who own the original material the doujin is parodying. If the doujinshi was original content then the artist should be fine, if they said it ok. I don't think like Weekly Shonen Jump would care if we host a doujin of luffy banging robin, but viz might. Plus doujin in japan doesn't make more money than what it cost to print really. Im not sure if it was making fakku money over cost they would be cool with it. But that Jacob thing to deal if it possible.
I doubt japan would care on doujin, but you never know if the western license holders would.
