There is no way they can get a episode budget equal to the OVA's budget.

I wonder if they're going to add 30 mins instead of 15 seeing as they raised double the money needed or if they're going to spend it on other projects.

And I hope more studios will use Kickstarter as well. It's a great way to raise the budget of a project.

I think it's also a good way of reminding them about the huge audience outside of Japan seeing as some studios seem to forget about us.

Just watched Little Witch Academia and I loved it. Looking forward to this new episode.

Maybe they will add subtitles when the episode airs. That would be cool.

Hypotheticals for my own amusement.

Double their goal in two days- 28 days to go.

If we do 150 000/day and presume that 150 000 = an additional 15 minutes of delicious, then

150 000 X 28 = 4 200 000

and

15 x 28 = 420

So, in addition to the 300 000 they've already raised, that's a total of 4 500 000 monies and 450 minutes.

Which is 7 and a half hours.

Now- kickstarter funding tends to die off after they've met their goal- but this could potentially become a full season of 12 episodes and 3 OVAs.

I think I might give the kickstarter $50. I want the bd and artbook.
