Err the signal flags that ships use? No that can't be it. A flag for Haruhi's Self Defense Forces hmm.. What was the haruhi's brigade called?

That's what I thought at first too, that it was about haruhi. Since the brown is like her hair, the gold is like the ribbon she wears, and the rest resembles her uniform; then it's doubled over to create a flag. What, like some sort of a signal flags that means 'Haruhi'? I don't get it *Shrug*.

They were the S.O.S Brigade, but their symbol was this weird squiggle, wasn't it? I don't really remember...

for me that pic would just reminds you to haruhi and only an otaku who knows haruhi.
